So before that black people could not vote or choose their leaders. They could not get the jobs they wanted. In a word they had no right at all. Did they do anything to change? No, they just accept the situation. How about later after ANC was founded? Yes, they choose to attack the law in a peaceful way. And then they answered violence with violence.
